
KPSC halts vet officer selection, forms sub-committee as BJP chief backs cheated candidates
Following allegations of malpractices in the selection of veterinary officers, Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has temporarily halted the selection list and formed an internal sub-committee to probe. An FIR was filed against suspended KPSC chairman Shivashankarappa S Sahukar, other officials, and 29 candidates. The sub-committee must submit a report within one week. BJP chief B Y Vijayendra said the party would support those cheated but not those guilty.
