
Ramaphosa wins reprieve: Court halts impeachment inquiry until September
In May, South Africa's Constitutional Court ruled that parliament must revive an impeachment inquiry into President Cyril Ramaphosa over the "Farmgate" scandal involving stolen cash from his farm. In June, a court halted the inquiry pending Ramaphosa’s challenge to the panel's findings, with three judges ruling in his favor.
