Floods in Assam affected 7.21 lakh people across 11 districts and 900 villages, with Sivasagar being the worst-hit district, affecting 3,92,195 people. Floodwaters submerged 24,897 hectares of crop land. The Disaster Reporting and Information Management System (DRIMS) reported five major rivers flowing above danger levels. Six lives were lost in the last 24 hours, and over 1,38,000 animals were impacted. Relief camps sheltered 24,418 people while another 2,90,826 received assistance through relief distribution centers. Rescue operations involved 111 medical teams, 56 boats, and one IAF helicopter.
