Court Grants Anticipatory Bail to Dhangekar Couple in Suicide Case
On Thursday, a court granted anticipatory bail to Ravindra Dhangekar and his wife in the case of abetment of suicide involving Pune businessman Khalil Rajjulal Shaikh, who died by suicide on July 15. Shaikh accused 14 people, including Dhangekar’s wife and former corporator Bala Shedge, in videos and notes. The court rejected Shedge's bail plea but imposed conditions on Dhangekar’s couple to report regularly and not contact witnesses.
