
ACB uncovers Rs 100-150 crore assets in REDCO engineer's disproportionate wealth case
Discovery of massive assets by an engineer raises serious concerns about corruption.
On Wednesday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) uncovered assets worth Rs 100-150 crore in a disproportionate assets case against Mutyam Venkata Ramana, a REDCO engineer. Searches at his residence and seven other premises found flats, commercial buildings, gold, bank deposits, vehicles, and valuables. The ACB had previously caught Ramana accepting a bribe in 2019. He is under investigation for amassing wealth beyond known income sources.
