Karnataka Rivals Visit H.D. Deve Gowda After Wife's Death
The death of Chennamma Deve Gowda, wife of former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, prompted arch political rivals in Karnataka to visit her husband's residence to console him. Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, despite their differences, showed compassion by visiting Mr. Gowda.
