Opposition Leaders Write to Modi Over Ram Temple Donation Theft Silence
On Saturday, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, leaders of the Opposition in Parliament, wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticizing his silence over the alleged theft of donations for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. They urged him to order an independent investigation into the trust’s financial affairs and ensure accountability. Eight people have been arrested, and around 30 more employees are under scrutiny. The letter highlighted that the trust members were appointed by Modi's government and affiliated with RSS and VHP. With Parliament’s monsoon session starting on Monday, they emphasized transparency and swift action to restore public trust.
