On July 20, the Supreme Court will hear pleas seeking a fair and time-bound probe into alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The court directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to submit a status report and issued notice to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Petitioners, including Narendra Kumar Goswami, Ajay Kumar Rai, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, and RJD MP Sudhakar Singh, seek CBI probes and forensic audits of the trust's finances. The SIT was formed on June 13 by the Uttar Pradesh government following allegations of misappropriation.
