Pune Contractor Alleges Betrayal, Dies by Suicide; 14 Booked for Abetment

Khalil Shaikh, a 65-year-old contractor, died by suicide in Pune's Gultekdi area after recording videos and writing a note alleging betrayal and life threats from business partners. Ravindra Dhangekar, his wife, and 12 others were booked for abetment of suicide at Swargate police station under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for various offenses including criminal breach of trust and intimidation. Further investigation is ongoing.
