Nagpur Cyber Police Registers FIR Against 4 Social Media Creators for Defaming Gadkari
The Nagpur Cyber Police registered FIR No. 0092/2026 against several social media content creators for allegedly defaming Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and misleading the public about the government's E20 fuel policy through false statements on YouTube and Instagram. The complaint, filed by BJP Nagpur City Social Media Cell Convener Shishir Arun Tripathi, cited Sections 356, 352, 296 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Joint Commissioner Navinchandra Reddy confirmed the ongoing investigation into posts by Manish Kashyap, Desi Boys, Harshit Rathi, and Anklesh Inwati.
