Women's Reservation Bill to Pass: Ramdas Athawale Confident with NDA’s Clear Majority Support

Ramdas Athawale, Union Minister and head of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), expressed confidence that the Women's Reservation Bill and Delimitation Bill will be passed during the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament due to the NDA’s clear majority. He noted these bills were previously defeated by opposition parties but now have support from some TMC and Shiv Sena members, as well as a two-thirds majority requirement met. The Women's Reservation Bill aims for women’s reservation in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, while delimitation is seen as necessary every 30–35 years. He appealed to Congress and other parties to support these bills' passage.
