Adityanath Hits Back at Opponents Over Ram Temple Donation Theft, Six Arrested

Urgent Civic Alert: power abuse

Abuse of power is suggested by the CM deflecting blame onto opposition parties.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said the alleged theft of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has hurt sentiments and should not be used to defame Ayodhya or the Ram Janambhoomi movement. He hit out at opposition parties, claiming they attacked faith when in power. A Special Investigation Team was formed after the temple trust requested it. Six people were arrested based on CCTV footage, and two resignations followed. This comes a day after Adityanath acknowledged the theft as "unfortunate."
