
Lava Mobiles trip turns fatal: 15 die in speedboat capsize off Vietnam
On Saturday, a speedboat carrying 32 Indian tourists and four crew members from Hon May Rut to An Thoi Port near Vietnam’s Phu Quoc Island capsized, killing fifteen. The victims were mostly employees and distributors of Lava Mobiles, attending an annual meeting. Twenty-one survived as search-and-rescue operations by local authorities continued in rough seas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed sadness over the incident.
