
Piyush Goyal meets Palaniswami in Chennai as BJP begins seat-sharing talks with AIADMK for 2026 polls
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) began seat-sharing negotiations with the AIADMK, which is leading the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu, for the 2026 Assembly elections. Piyush Goyal, the BJP's election in-charge for Tamil Nadu, met with Edappadi K. Palaniswami, the AIADMK general secretary, and other party leaders to discuss the arrangement. The meeting took place at a star hotel in Chennai.
