AMMA Actors Accuse Shwetha Menon of Communal Divide, ₹15 Crore Corporate Deal

Ansiba Hassan, Maala Parvathy, and Usha Haseena, a group of women actors, held a press conference on Saturday (July 4, 2026) to accuse Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) president Shwetha Menon and some committee members of attempting communal polarisation and advancing corporate and political agendas. They also alleged that Ms. Menon threatened Ansiba Hassan and attempted to influence the police investigation into defamatory allegations made by Lakshmi Priya.
