Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, India’s deputy foreign minister and a state governor, senior Chinese lawmaker He Wei, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, and Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi are also expected to attend the seven-day event in Tehran. The funeral, which will be one of the largest public funerals in modern history, is set to begin on Friday with religious rites planned across Iran and Iraq.
