Vikasit Chhattisgarh within reach as anti-Naxal operations gain ground: Chief Minister

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai announced the state's plan to transition towards "Vikasit Chhattisgarh" as ongoing anti-Naxal operations are expected to eliminate Maoists from the region. Sai thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their support in combating violence. The unveiling of a statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Rajamahendravaram was part of the commemorative program, along with the announcement of the Raipur-Visakhapatnam expressway project. Sai also highlighted plans to name parks and streets after Vajpayee across Chhattisgarh.
