Ram temple donations case: All eight accused sent to 14 days judicial custody

The Special Judge, Anti-Corruption Court in Ayodhya sent eight accused in the alleged theft and embezzlement of donations from the Ram Temple to 14 days in judicial custody. The accused, including former aides of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai, were booked under charges including theft, criminal breach of trust, cheating, and criminal conspiracy. The Faizabad/Ayodhya Bar Association passed a resolution barring its members from representing the accused, demanding a CBI investigation into the case. The Congress also demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe in the matter.
