‘Final deadline’ past, Rabri may vacate residence on July 5
Rabri Devi, leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), has requested a "charge register" containing a list of household items provided when she was allotted 10 Circular Road in Patna in 2006. The residence is scheduled to be vacated by July 5th, which coincides with the RJD's foundation day. Ms. Devi has already shifted most of her belongings and officials from the State Building Construction Department visited the residence on June 24th to verify the list but were unable to provide it. The department was asked to furnish the list before the residence is vacated. The former Bihar Chief Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav, may temporarily reside at his son Tejashwi Yadav's official residence after security cover for both has been downgraded.
