‘Jana Nayagan’ film producer appointed Special Representative of Tamil Nadu in New Delhi
The State Government appointed K. Venkata Narayana, producer of C. Joseph Vijay's unreleased film "Jana Nayagan", as its Special Representative to the Government of Tamil Nadu at New Delhi. The temporary appointment, effective June 23, 2026, will last for one year or until the need ceases, according to a government order. T.T.V. Dhinakaran, AMMK's general secretary, criticized the move, while the AIADMK's IT wing questioned the appointment's legitimacy and suggested it might be a "proxy" of the Congress government in Karnataka.
