Manickam Tagore Appointed New Tamil Nadu Congress Chief
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge appointed Manickam Tagore as the new president of the Tamil Nadu Pradesh Congress Committee, replacing K Selvaperunthagai. Tagore, a Lok Sabha MP from Virudhunagar and AICC in-charge of party affairs in Andhra Pradesh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, will now lead the state unit's efforts. The party expressed appreciation for Selvaperunthagai's contributions.
