BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari accused Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress President, and his family of using their political influence to transfer valuable public land in Bengaluru, Gulbarga, and Banashankari to a private trust called Siddharth Vihara Trust. Bhandari alleged that the trust had no actual work in aerospace, defense, or Pali research despite receiving the land in 2024 while Priyank Kharge, the Karnataka Home Minister, defended the trust's activities and questioned the motives of the BJP.
