
Case Filed Over Ram Temple Donation Theft, 6 In Custody
Six temple employees, including Anukalp Mishra, Lavkush Mishra, and Avinash Shukla, have been arrested for allegedly stealing donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust filed an FIR after a complaint by itself, alleging nearly Rs 7 to 7.5 crore is missing. The incident was first flagged by the Samajwadi Party, with Akhilesh Yadav demanding judicial intervention and prompting the government to order an inquiry led by Vijay Vishwas Pant, Kiran S, and Neel Ratan. The arrests follow concerns expressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and prominent figures like Vinay Katiyar.
