SIT an eyewash, formed to protect the powerful: Arvind Kejriwal on Ram Mandir donation probe
Allegations of large-scale theft from a religious institution raise serious concerns.
Arvind Kejriwal, national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, criticized the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Ram Temple donation scam, calling it an "eyewash" and a fraud intended to protect influential individuals. Kejriwal alleged that donations worth billions of rupees have been stolen from the temple, including diamonds, precious stones, and ₹200 crore in cash. He questioned the SIT's formation without an FIR and its lack of investigation power. Sanjay Singh, an AAP Rajya Sabha MP, also appeared before the SIT with documents he claimed contained evidence of corruption.
