VHP seeks FIR, fast track court to look into Ram Temple donation allegations
Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) international president Alok Kumar called for a comprehensive investigation and an FIR into allegations of irregularities in donations collected for the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Mr. Kumar stressed that those found guilty should face the strictest legal action, demanding expedited proceedings and a fast-track court to address the matter daily. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which requested the inquiry, has seen its general secretary, Champat Rai, accept responsibility for matters under his charge. The Uttar Pradesh government established a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) on June 14 to investigate the matter.
