CM Omar Abdullah reviews preparations for annual Pandit pilgrimage in Kashmir

Omar Abdullah, the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, visited the Mata Kheer Bhawani shrine to assess arrangements for the upcoming mela, which is a significant event for Kashmiri Pandits. He addressed concerns regarding water shortages and directed the administration to address them before the festival begins on June 22nd. Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister of J&K and president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), met with stakeholders of the Amarnath yatra, urging them to promote understanding and dispel prejudice. She emphasized that Kashmir's hospitality should be a reflection of its values and faith during the pilgrimage.
