Iltija Mufti seeks to book Nitish Kumar over removing veil of a female doctor
Iltija Mufti, leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, filed a complaint with the J&K Police in Srinagar, seeking an FIR against Nitish Kumar, the Bihar Chief Minister, for removing the veil from a female doctor during an official function. Several political parties in Jammu and Kashmir condemned Kumar's actions, including Mehbooba Mufti, former J&K Chief Minister and PDP President, who called for his resignation. Inam Un Nabi, spokesperson of the Awami Ittehad Party, also criticized Kumar's behavior as "disgraceful, arrogant, and shockingly shameless."
