Rabri Devi seeks more time to vacate official residence, cites Lalu’s health

Rabri Devi, leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and former Bihar Chief Minister, requested an extension on her deadline to vacate her official residence at 10, Circular Road. The request was made due to her husband's poor health. The government had previously issued notices for her eviction, citing the need for the residence to be vacated. Nand Kishor Ram, the new occupant of the residence, has alleged that his assignment was a result of discrimination based on his caste.
