Iran war day 109: Tehran, Washington, sign MoU electronically | US-Israel war on Iran News
US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf electronically signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the US on Monday, ending fighting in Lebanon and lifting the US naval blockade on Iranian ports. The deal also includes negotiations on Iran's nuclear program and sanctions relief during a 60-day period following the signing in Switzerland. Iran’s National Security Council stated that the agreement ends fighting on all fronts, including in Lebanon, while Saman Rezaei, head of Iran’s merchant marine union, believes the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its pre-war condition. The US has removed its blockade of Iranian ports and at least three Iranian oil tankers have crossed the Strait of Hormuz since announcing the peace deal.
