Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led a mega clean-up drive along the Yamuna River in Delhi, involving thousands of volunteers from various organizations. The campaign aimed to address the issue of plastic waste and other materials being dumped into the river, which is considered sacred by many. Gupta emphasized that maintaining the cleanliness of the Yamuna is a shared responsibility, highlighting the need for behavioral change among citizens. The drive covered 28 locations across nearly 22 kilometers of the riverfront, with participants pledging to prevent further pollution and spread awareness about keeping the Yamuna clean.
