"Significant Action": Ram Temple Committee Chief On Donation Row Probe Team

Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairperson Nripendra Mishra welcomed the Uttar Pradesh government's decision to form a special investigation team (SIT) to probe allegations of irregularities in the Ram temple donation funds. Awadhesh Prasad, SP MP from Faizabad, demanded removal of all trust members and called for an investigation by a committee led by Supreme Court judges. Prominent leader of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and former BJP MP Vinay Katiyar expressed concern over the allegations, emphasizing the sacrifices made in the cause. The SIT comprises Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant, Inspector General of Police Kiran S, and Finance Department Special Secretary Neel Ratan.
