
3-Member Special Team Formed To Probe Ram Mandir Donation Row
The Uttar Pradesh government has formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate allegations of missing donations and financial mismanagement within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The SIT, comprising Vijay Vishwas Pant, Kiran S, and Neel Ratan, was constituted following a request from the trust. The controversy surrounding the trust's finances arose after Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav raised concerns about missing donations and urged the court to take suo motu cognisance of the matter.
