
Upendra Kushwaha re-elected RLM chief after son misses MLC nomination
Upendra Kushwaha, the national president of Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), was re-elected after the party concluded its organizational elections. He addressed concerns about his son, Deepak Prakash's ministerial position and denied any plans for a merger with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kushwaha reiterated his demand for an amendment to the Bodh Gaya Temple Act, 1949, and other resolutions were adopted including a call for special status for Bihar and changes to the delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies. The elections were conducted according to party constitution with Pramod Kumar Suman, as the Chief Electoral Officer, overseeing the process.
