Brahmachari claims the conspiracy involved Mahant Ramchandra Das, who lives in Chitrakoot ashram, and several officials. He alleges Das may have even planned to kill Rambhadracharya. The Prayagraj police registered a case of sexual assault on minors against the accused under POCSO provisions. Avimukteshwaranand and Das, both from Pratapgarh district, secured anticipatory bail in the case.
