Rs 3 crore bribe: Delhi Police inspector arrested, senior public servant under CBI lens | India News

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a Delhi Police inspector, Pradeep Singh, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1 crore from the prime accused in a counterfeit medicine racket. The CBI registered an FIR against Pradeep Singh, N Raja alias Valliappan alias Rajasekhar, and Rajkumar alias Madhanraj, who allegedly acted as an intermediary. The investigation revealed that Raja sought to secure relief in the CBI cases through his connections within the agency, promising a senior public servant would help him. The CBI is probing the role of this senior public servant and has recovered Rs 1 crore during the arrest.
