The court found him guilty under the Indian Penal Code and Arms Act for violating his arms licence conditions by firing a 0.22 bore pistol not allowed for such use. Singh's wife and two others were acquitted of related charges. The court noted that Singh, identified by multiple witnesses, fired the fatal bullet that killed Archana Gupta, a guest at the party. The case is scheduled for sentencing on June 9th.
