At 76, Naidu pedals 5.5 km of midday heat for a greener Visakhapatnam

N. Chandrababu Naidu, 76, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, visited Andhra University on World Environment Day to plant a sapling and address concerns about the university's green cover. He directed the Vice-Chancellor to work towards a net-zero campus with solar panels and emphasized the state's commitment to raising Andhra Pradesh's green cover to 50%. He also highlighted the importance of environmental protection, particularly at the port, and announced an initiative to distribute five crore seed balls across the state. Pawan Kalyan, Deputy Chief Minister, joined Naidu in cycling to the venue of a National Workshop on Seafood Export.
