At 76, Naidu pedals 5.5 km of midday heat for a greener Visakhapatnam

N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, visited Andhra University to mark World Environment Day and emphasized the need for increased green space on campus. He planted a sapling, challenged the university to achieve a net-zero campus with solar power and biodiversity initiatives, and pledged to raise the state's overall green cover to 50%. He also directed officials to address environmental concerns at the port and announced an initiative to distribute five crore seed balls across the state. Pawan Kalyan, Deputy Chief Minister, joined Naidu in cycling through the city, highlighting a commitment to sustainable practices.
