Mahayuti likely to win six MLC seats unopposed
Maharashtra witnessed a significant shift in the legislative council polls with several candidates withdrawing their nominations, paving the way for Mahayuti to secure six unopposed seats. NCP candidate Aniket Tatkare is likely to win uncontested in Ratnagiri after Bal Mane, a Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate, withdrew his nomination. The withdrawal of other candidates from various constituencies also contributed to this outcome. The Election Commission of India will hold the elections on June 18th with results expected on June 22nd.
