DK Shivakumar has retained the finance, cabinet affairs, intelligence, and personnel and administrative reforms portfolios in Karnataka. G Parameshwara, the deputy chief minister, will oversee the revenue and sports departments. Priyank Kharge, son of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, was given the home department (excluding intelligence) along with IT, biotechnology, and e-Governance responsibilities. Other key portfolios were distributed among 13 other MLAs who took oath as ministers yesterday following Siddaramaiah's resignation.
