2020 Delhi riots: Court defers verdict in IB officer murder case for June 11

Delhi court postponed the verdict in the murder case of Intelligence Bureau officer Ankit Sharma, who was killed during the 2020 northeast Delhi riots. Additional Sessions Judge Praveen Singh deferred the judgment for June 11th, after hearing arguments from the prosecution and defense against 11 accused, including former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain. The case stems from an FIR filed by Sharma's father, who alleged that his son was murdered by Hussain and others. The charges include rioting, murder, and criminal conspiracy.
