Gruha Lakshmi: BJP asks Siddaramaiah to clear arrears before exit now.

Suresh Kumar, a BJP MLA, questioned the status of Rs 5,000 crore allocated for the Gruha Lakshmi scheme in Karnataka. He highlighted that payments for February and March 2025 were not disbursed to eligible families despite claims by a minister in the outgoing Siddaramaiah government. The issue was raised during the winter session last year and has been brought up again by Mahesh Tenginakai, another BJP legislator, who demanded accountability from the outgoing CM.
