Minimol, and Shiny Mathew. While Ms. Varghese is considered a likely candidate, other members of the party are pushing for Ms. Mathew to secure votes in West Kochi. The Congress has yet to decide on a date for its parliamentary party meeting to select the mayoral candidate.
