India, U.S. looking at firming up trade deal soon

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the upcoming trade agreement between India and the United States will be "beneficial" and "sustainable," addressing national interests for both nations. Rubio, during a visit to India, emphasized that the agreement is part of a broader effort by the Trump administration to rebalance U.S. trade globally. He highlighted the imbalance in the current trade relationship with India and stated that the US seeks mutually beneficial arrangements with all countries involved. The Secretary of State also noted that the trade delegation from the United States will visit India soon to further discussions on the proposed agreement.
