Mayawati slams Akhilesh Yadav over Samajwadi Party spokesperson's 'anti-Brahmin remark'

Mayawati, chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party, criticized Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party, for remaining silent on alleged derogatory remarks made by an SP spokesperson, Rajkumar Bhati, against Brahmins. She argued that the silence is escalating the situation and urged Yadav to take action and apologize. The police in Ghaziabad have booked Bhati under Section 196(1) of the Indian Penal Code for promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion.
