Telangana BJP distances itself from POCSO case against Bandi Sanjay’s son, calls it legal issue
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana distanced itself from a POCSO case involving the son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar. The state BJP president, N. Ramchander Rao, stated that the party has no connection to the matter and will investigate if any family member is involved. Rao also addressed allegations of discrepancies in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) conducted during the recent Assembly elections, claiming it was a clean-up exercise approved by the Election Commission and Supreme Court. He asserted that the SIR aimed to eliminate "bogus" voters and that the results reflected the mandate of genuine voters.
