
Tamil Nadu government formation: VCK, IUML extend unconditional support to Vijay’s TVK
Thol. Thirumavalavan, president of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), and K.M. Kader Mohideen, national president of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), extended unconditional support to the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) to form the government in Tamil Nadu. The letters were sent to the Governor and expressed support for TVK leader C. Joseph Vijay's leadership. With this support, the TVK now has 120 MLAs-elect, exceeding the majority mark needed to form a government.
