Kerala polls: Congress-led UDF won not due to any individual’s efforts but as people were fed up, says NSS general secretary
G. Sukumaran Nair, general secretary of the Nair Service Society (NSS), stated that the Congress-led UDF's victory in the 2026 Kerala Assembly polls was due to public dissatisfaction with the government and not individual efforts by anyone, including V.D. Satheesan. Mr. Nair attributed the Left's loss to internal issues within the party, not anti-incumbency sentiment. While acknowledging differences with Satheesan, he emphasized that these were not used against him during the election and asserted that the NSS did not dictate support for any candidate.
