Candidates from various political parties across Tamil Nadu concluded intense campaigning for the April 23 Assembly elections in Cuddalore, Villupuram, and Kallakurichi districts. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami addressed rallies in the three districts. Sitting Ministers M.R.K. Panneerselvam and C.V. Ganesan, along with former minister C.Ve. Shanmugam and DMDK general secretary Premallatha Vijayakant, are among those vying for political positions. The Election Commission (EC) has instructed all outsiders, including party workers and functionaries, to leave the constituencies immediately.
