T.N. Assembly election 2026: Cases filed against DMK, AIADMK candidates for alleged distribution of ₹8,000 coupons and ₹10,000 tokens
The Madras High Court agreed to hear two writ petitions on Friday, April 17th. One petition accuses numerous DMK candidates of distributing ₹8,000 coupons during the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, while another targets AIADMK candidate Royapuram Mano alias R. Manohar for distributing ₹10,000 tokens in Chennai. The court will hear both cases if they are numbered by the end of the day.
